Encore Presentation: Mark Cleveland

INVENTING THE BETTER...SOCK

By Turney Stevens, Dean

So, you want to be an entrepreneur?

Well, of course, that means you have to invent something. Or create something truly brilliant like a Wal-Mart or an iPhone. Or at the very least be a relentless builder of something. Lots of something.

What if I told you that you could create a multi- million dollar business with a product so much simpler, so much easier, so much more.... well, obvious.

What about socks?

Really? Are you kidding? There's something different, something new left to do... with SOCKS? Really?

You bet. And Mark Cleveland did it. With socks.

Swiftwick is a better sock. So much better that Cleveland is selling them by the truckload. Globally.

How did he do it? What's better, what's different about a Swiftwick sock? You'll have to watch this week's episode of Conversations with the Dean to find out.

Mark Cleveland, Founder and CEO of Swiftwick International LLC, is this week's guest on Conversations with the Dean.
