Master of Accountancy (MAcc)
The College of Business at Lipscomb University is dedicated to preparing students for their role in accounting by combining rigorous academics in a faith-based approach.
Our student-focused program is developed and taught by seasoned professors – many of whom have made significant contributions in the private sector before teaching – who are able to contribute to your academic and professional development, as well as your future business career. Our professors help you develop into an accounting professional who is always in demand by the Big 4 firms, government agencies, Fortune 500 companies, and other businesses and organizations across the country.
Our 30-hour master's program, offered primarily on weekday evenings, is tailor-made for students wishing to take and pass the CPA exam while completing their masters degree. Lipscomb’s location, reputation, and affordable tuition are bonuses that make the program even more attractive.
Even if you did not pursue accounting as an undergraduate area of study, but want to become a CPA, you can fast track through the foundational accounting courses to prepare for the MAcc with Lipscomb's Summer Accounting Boot Camp. It's a nine-hour program you can fit into your existing work schedule, and earn the prerequisites needed to get into our master's program and prepare for the CPA exam.
We take pride in offering several program options to fit your particular need. Feel free to contact us to set up a meeting to discuss what your future career plans are, and how Lipscomb can help you get there.
