Master of Accountancy

Building Your Future
Our 30-hour master's program, offered primarily on weekday evenings, is tailor-made for students wishing to take and pass the CPA exam while completing their master’s degree. The Lipscomb University College of Business is dedicated to preparing students for their role in accounting by providing exceptional academics in a faith-based environment and opportunities you won’t find elsewhere, including:
- GMAT Performance-Based Scholarships: Lipscomb's MAcc program offers a number of merit-based scholarship opportunities. MAcc applicants who report a GMAT score of at least 600 are eligible for scholarships once they have been admitted to the program. In order to ensure sufficient time to apply for these scholarship opportunities, please submit your application for admission to the MAcc program by March 31.
- Guaranteed Paid Internship: MACC students are guaranteed a paid accounting internship in Nashville. If you do not attain a paid internship, you will be eligible for reimbursement.
- Pay for CPA Performance: Lipscomb will award a $1,000 scholarship for each section of the CPA exam passed during the Fall/Spring Semesters.
Summer Accounting Bootcamp
Our Summer Accounting Bootcamp offers a fast track through the foundational accounting courses required to prepare you for the MAcc, even if you didn’t pursue accounting as an undergraduate. The nine-hour program makes it easy to fit into your existing work schedule and earn the prerequisites needed to enter the Lipscomb master’s program and prepare for the CPA exam.
