Over 30 Accounting Graduates attend Alumni Reconnection BreakfastOver 30 accounting alumni from Lipscomb University's College of Business gathered to take part in the first Alumni Reconnection Breakfast held in the Presidential Dining Room at Lipscomb. These breakfasts are a new initiative by Dr. Randy Lowry, President of Lipscomb University. He plans to hold the breakfasts once a month to bring together faculty and graduates and reconnect them to each other both personally and professionally. Greg Carnes, Dean of the College of Business, Lisa Shacklett, Director of the Career Development Center, Sandra Hood, Development Officer/Director, Associated Ladies of Lipscomb and Dr. Randy Lowry, President of Lipscomb University all spoke briefly about the vision of Lipscomb University and specifically the College of Business. With a huge plan for academic investment and structural development, Lipscomb and the College of Business is on a track for success. The accounting alumni were given insight into the upcoming efforts to add new facilities and enhance the classroom experience of current and future students. If the turn-out from the accounting alumni was any indication of how these breakfasts will go, there is no doubt, they will be a huge success. Alumni and faculty were not in hurry to leave after the program ended and enjoyed time to catch-up with each other.
