How we raise funds
A.W.L. raises funding for scholarships in three ways: through membership fees, fund-raising events and special item sales. Keep reading to discover your favorite way to participate.
Fund-Raising Events:
A.W.L. fund-raising events are designed to appeal to all ladies, whether college student, young adult, mother, or retiree.

Avalon Market Day, Nov. 16, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Located in the historic Avalon House, this marketplace is the perfect opportunity to kick off your holiday shopping! Purchase delicious pecans and Watkins vanilla for all of your baking needs and get fabulous Christmas gifts from our great vendors. It will also be an opportunity to purchase Avalon Favorites, our cookbook filled with recipes served at Avalon. Vendors include Silver Bells Jewelry & Accessories, Nana Lovies, Mrs. Aprons, See My World with Photography, 31 Gifts, Frames Around the Corner, Home Decor, Snicklefritz Specialties, Inc. and Where the Art Is. Lipscomb Ornaments are a wonderful gift idea. Choose from 14 different designs. Each ornament features one of the buildings on Lipscomb's campus, such as Brewer Bell Tower, The Avalon, Lipscomb Log Cabin, Harding Hall, Elam Hall, Johnson Hall, Sewell Hall, Willard Collins Alumni Auditorium, The Bison, Fanning Hall, High Rise, Longview, Burton Health Sciences Center and Crisman Administration Center.
