Bachelor of Science in Psychology

The Psychology department at Lipscomb University strives to provide an environment that encourages students to excel using learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom.  Students regularly engage in internship experiences, work alongside faculty members to conduct psychological research, attend and present research at local conferences, and participate in activities organized by the Psi Chi National Honor Society in Psychology.  Faculty members are known for excellence in teaching and advising, and work with students to help them further their careers.  The Psychology program prepares students for graduate study or work in a wide variety of relevant professional fields. 

The psychology major requires a total of 45 hours of coursework.  The Psychology minor requires a total of 18 hours.  Adult Degree Program students have the option of completing a major or minor through evening or online courses.
