What is TouchNet?

TouchNet is a secure and convenient way to pay for tuition and fees. TouchNet offers monthly payment plans for checking/savings accounts, and families can make one-time payments using a bank account, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. All student refunds will be processed through TouchNet.

What do I need to do?

1. Log into TouchNet to enter bank account information for refunds. Completing this step will ensure that your refund will be processed in a timely manner.

2. Give access to authorized users.

3. Pay in full or sign up for a payment plan to become official by the dates below:

Summer: May 1
Fall: August 1
Spring: December 1

Any student who is not official by these dates is at risk of having his or her schedule dropped.

How do I access the TouchNet system?

Using Internet Explorer or Mozilla, log into my.lipscomb.edu. In the My Balances section, click My Account. Select a term, and view your Account Summary. At the bottom of the window, click TouchNet Payments and Refunds. Click Continue to Payments and Payment Plans.

How do I enter bank account information for refunds?

Log into the TouchNet system. Click the eRefunds tab. Click Set Up Account. Select a previously stored Payment Method and click Continue -or- select Set up a new account and click Continue. Enter your bank account information and click Continue. Read the ACH agreement and click the I Agree button. Click Continue to complete the setup.

How do I give a parent, grandparent, or other person access to the payment site?

Authorized users may view student account activity, make payments, and set up payment plans.

Log into the TouchNet system, click the Authorized Users link in the My Account menu. Here you will enter the e-mail address of the authorized user, and you can grant the user permission to view billing statements and/or payment history.

What payment plans are available?

Once you are registered for classes, you can enroll in a payment plan. All payment plans have a $60 enrollment fee that is due when signing up for the plan. Any late payments are subject to a $40 late payment fee.

Summer Payment Plan:

2-Month Payment Plan
-Automatic monthly payments on the 25th of each month from April through May

Fall Payment Plans:

5-Month Payment Plan
-Automatic monthly payments on the 25th of each month from June through October

4-Month Payment Plan
-Automatic monthly payments on the 25th of each month from July through October

3-Month Payment Plan
-Automatic monthly payments on the 25th of each month from August through October

Spring Payment Plans:

5-Month Payment Plan
-Automatic monthly payments on the 25th of each month from November through March

4-Month Payment Plan
-Automatic monthly payments on the 25th of each month from December through March

3-Month Payment Plan
-Automatic monthly payments on the 25th of each month from January through March

How do I enroll in a monthly payment plan?

During the enrollment period for payment plans, log into the TouchNet system. Click on the Payment Plans tab, and click the Enroll Now button. Select the term and review the available plans. Select a plan and click Continue. You will see a summary of charges and credits that are eligible for the plan. Click Display Payment Schedule. You will see the payment amounts and due dates. Click Continue. In the Payment Method list, select New Electronic Check or a previously stored checking/savings account. The $60 enrollment fee will be charged immediately, and monthly payments will automatically draft on the due dates. Read the Payment Plan Agreement and click the I Agree box. Click Continue. Read the ACH agreement and click the I agree to the above terms and conditions box. Click Continue. If there are any additional charges or payments on the student account after setting up the plan, you will receive an email explaining the effect on the payment plan amounts.

How do I make a one-time payment on a student account?

All credit card payments must be made through TouchNet. You may also pay by check through TouchNet, by mail, or in person.

To make a one-time payment on a student account, log into the TouchNet system. On the My Account tab, click Make a Payment. View your current balance, and click Make a Payment. Click the checkbox beside the term you are paying and enter the payment amount. Click Continue. Select the payment method (electronic check or credit card) and click Select. Follow the prompts to enter your account info and process the payment.
