Advance Orientation 2015
Want to get the inside scoop on life at Lipscomb, your class schedule, and all things college before the fall semester begins?
Advance is a summer orientation program for first-time Lipscomb students and their parents. Participation in Advance offers distinct advantages to both new students and parents and provides a great look at the Lipscomb collegiate experience. At Advance students will learn about student life, meet with an academic advisor, enroll for classes and begin to develop friendships with other new Lipscomb students! All of this by participating in a variety of informative, interesting and fun activities, several of which are hosted by members of our Quest Orientation Team. Students coming to Advance must be present for all Advance activities on both days and, in June and July, spend the night on campus.
Parents who attend Advance will meet university personnel, tour campus, interact with other parents and attend sessions full of information on everything from financial aid to the adjustments they will face as the parents of a college student. The parent program includes lunch on the first day and breakfast the following morning. Students should register their parents for Advance when they register.
To register for any of our orientation programs students must first have been accepted for admission to the university and paid their enrollment fee. Advance registration will open on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. (CT).
