The High School Cross Country team is rich with tradition. The teams goals are always two-fold: first and foremost, to inspire each other to know Jesus better and be more like him; secondly, to use whatever gifts God has given to practice and race to the best of our ability, to bring Him honor and praise. In 1999 the team adopted the chant RTFOOE, an acronym standing for “Run through the Father, our only endurance.” The team has enjoyed much success over the last several years bringing home state titles for both the boys and girls. The team enjoys success on a local and regional level as well year after year. The runners are always encouraged to be a good example to others, not only in their hard work and effort on the team, but in their daily, Christian walk as well.
