The NorCal trip will take place in Patterson, a small agricultural city located about 75 miles outside of San Francisco in California's central valley. The trip's main focus will be to encourage the local church through preaching, Bible study, and fellowship. The church in Patterson is made up of about 40 people. They are a diverse, close-knit family of believers. Their church building was condemned after the 1989 Loma Preita earthquake and they have since rented a building for worship on Sundays, and meet in each other's homes on Wednesday evenings. We are very excited for the opportunity to join with the Patterson church in the work they are doing and to encourage them in their walk with the Lord! |
