It's ok if you cannot fill in every blank, it is just helpful to have as much information as possible as we begin working with you on this new trip opportunity. *Leadership* Leadership structure is one of the most important aspects of developing a new mission team. Each of our current mission teams has a similar leadership structure, but the roles and responsibilities may vary from team to team. Regardless, we ask that every team identify a primary leader and at least one supporting leader. Although it is not a requirement, we highly recommend that you have a Lipscomb faculty or staff member in the leadership structure of your team. *Purpose* The vision of the Missions Program at Lipscomb University is to equip every student with the knowledge of God’s word and His purpose along with a keen self-awareness which will lead them to identifying how to participate fully in God’s mission in their lives, regardless of their vocation. The focus of missions, service, and ministry at Lipscomb is to convince every student they are called to spread the message of God’s love to the world, no matter what discipline of study they pursue or what vocation they choose. Our goal is to help every student discover and develop his or her own personal ministry.
