For the fourth time in the last three years, Lipscomb's men's and women's track and cross country teams will serve as the hands and feet of Jesus during their time between seasons. Previous locations include Los Angeles, CA (Dream Center) and Belize City, Belize. This past August the team(s) traveled to Cap Haitien Children's Home, directed by Lipscomb alumni Hunter and Jillian Kittrell and host of a long-standing May mission team, to support their work with both the orphaned children who call CHCH home and the local community in Cap Haitien. They are returning there during Winter Break. The team hopes to build upon strong relationships begun over the summer and further support the ministry efforts of CHCH. |
