City of Children
Spring Break 2013

This trip desires to bring God's love to the children and people of Ensenada, Mexico.

A few hours south of the California/Mexico border you will find in Ensenada, Mexico a place known as the City of Children. It is an orphanage, but not just any orphanage. The City of Children, the parent organization of Baja Missions, was created to save the troubled children of Mexico from poverty and abuse and raise them in a loving Christian environment so that they can come to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Currently, 104 children, ranging from from toddlers to teens, call the City of Children home.

Students and Faculty/Staff use their spring break to travel across the border and spend time with children that many have forgotten. Over the course of the week the team members conduct a VBS, do manual labor inside and outside the orphanage, and, most importantly, spend time playing with and loving the kids. The children are very loving and remember, keep in contact, and anxiously hope to see again the students who spent their spring break with them.

Many Mexican children have been saved and hearts have been touched around the world because of God's refuge for his children in Ensenada, Mexico.
